  18.                         *PROMISED STRENGTH*

  22. Scripture- Isaiah 40:29-31 "He gives power to the weak, and to those 
  23. who have no might He increases strength.  Even the youth shall faint 
  24. and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait
  25. on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings
  26. like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not 
  27. faint."

  29. Have you ever just felt like throwing your hands up and calling it 
  30. quits? Were you feeling so weary and weakened from the onstant battles
  31. and struggles in life, that you begin to wonder, "What's the point of 
  32. trying anymore if nothing is ever going to change?"
  33.  
  34. Well, you're not alone, we all experience times in our lives where we 
  35. feel weak or too weary to go on. Isaiah tells us that God gives 
  36. strength to those who are weak, because His power and strength never 
  37. weaken.  We can call on Him for help in our hour of need.  His strength
  38. is our source of strength  and we can exchange our strength for His.  
  39. In that exchange we can become renewed.
  40.  
  41. Waiting on the Lord means trusting Him and expecting that His promise of
  42. strength will help us rise above life's challenges and difficulties.
  43.  
  44. So when you feel like all of life is crushing you and you cannot go 
  45. another step, remember you can call upon the Lord to renew your 
  46. strength.  He will enable you to continue to walk and not faint.
